Refund & Booking Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
A booking is only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received.
Please note that all deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. The deposit secures your booking and covers administrative and preparation costs related to your trip.
Any remaining balance (if applicable) must be settled at least 30 days before the departure date.
Failure to complete payment according to the schedule may result in automatic cancellation without notice, and any payment made, including the deposit, will not be refunded.
2. Payment Terms
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or cash, as stated on our official website.
Proof of payment must be submitted to Salty Passport via email or WhatsApp for verification purposes.
Payments are considered valid only after they have been confirmed by Salty Passport’s finance department.
3. Cancellation Policy
All bookings made with Salty Passport are final and non-refundable.
This means no refunds will be issued for any cancellations, date changes, delays, or no-shows - regardless of the reason, including but not limited to:
Personal schedule changes
Illness or medical reasons
Adverse weather or sea conditions
Travel restrictions or transportation delays
Any other unforeseen personal circumstances
Once payment is made, no cancellation or refund requests will be entertained.
4. Date Change / Booking Transfer Policy
While payments are non-refundable, Salty Passport may, at its discretion, allow a transfer of booking to another participant for the same trip date.
Requests for transfer must be made at least 14 days before the departure date and are subject to approval, administrative fees, and third-party provider terms (such as dive operators, accommodation, or transport providers).
Participants are responsible for ensuring that all travel documents — including passports, dive licenses, and health certifications — are valid and complete.
Salty Passport will not be held liable for any immigration issues, incomplete documents, or missing permits that prevent participation in the trip.
5. Travel Documents & Participant Responsibility
6. Force Majeure
Salty Passport shall not be held responsible for any changes, delays, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Extreme weather or natural disasters
Pandemics or health emergencies
Conflicts, strikes, or government regulations
Technical failures or transport disruptions
In such cases, Salty Passport reserves the right to offer rescheduling or travel credit, subject to third-party supplier policies. No cash refunds will be provided.
